What Is Digital UV Printer?

Digital UV printers unlike conventional printers that use solvent-based inks and require drying time, digital UV printers use UV-curable inks that cure instantly when exposed to UV light and are printed on top of the substrate. Q: Can a UV printer print on paper?

A: Yes, you can print on paper directly, this paper can be a variety of materials, such as foam board, wood, glass, plastics, and so on.

Q: Is A UV printer permanent?

A: The ink cures immediately under UV light, using a single-step process with UV-LED technology, so UV printing is permanent.

Q: How long does UV printing last?

A: At least 2 years, the reason is no ink is absorbed in the material stock，the evaporation of solvents is minimal

Q: Is UV printing safe to use?

Q: Does UV printer need ink?

A: Yes, it needs UV curable ink.It is liquid status before being exposed to UV light, curing to the surface of the material as soon as the light hits it.

Q: Is UV printing sustainable?

Q: Printed bleed area:

A: In order to achieve a finished product without showing white edges, the actual content is slightly enlarged, and a part of the enlarged content is cut off when cutting. The part that is cut off is called the bleed area.

Q: Four printing technology:

A: It is generally a colorful technology which adopt three-primary colors include yellow, magenta and cyan with black to copy colorful manuscript.

Q: What is the phenomena of ink running?

A: Ink running refers to the irregular printed matter, do not locate the irregular occurrence of wide and narrow, long and short, deep and shallow ink trail.

Q: Why does the phenomenon of ink running occur?

A: The reason is that the ink is thick and the position and angle of the squeegee is not suitable. You can adjust the angle and position of the squeegee to thin the ink.

Q: The paper feeding of label printer is unnormal:

A: The setting of parameters is wrong, you can reset according to the instruction.

Q: The label printer cannot locate the small labels properly when printing them:

A: Generally, the height of the labels must be more than 10mm. Otherwise, the labels need to be offset. When setting the label, set the label height to about 5mm higher than the actual label height, and then set the label offset according to the specific offset.

Q: The font is clear except bar code when label printer is printing:

A: Because the content of bar code is too much with small density.You can reduce the content of bar code or increase the density of it.

Q: The content cannot be printed completely in label printer:

A: Because the version of printing software and driver are too low, you can solve it through installing new version of software and driver.

Q: The label printer often skips paper:

A: Because of incorrect print settings, you can change the BMP print format to PCX format for printing.

Q: The label printer has a line missing in the vertical direction during printing:

A: May be the print head surface is dusty or worn, you can wipe clean the print head, or replace the new printhead.

Q: Correct preservation of corrugated board:

A: When the surface of corrugated board is damaged by humans, the imprinting will be unclear. If the pressure printing is forced to increase, the imprinting will overlap and blur. So daily stacking, handling corrugated cardboard should be handled with care.

Q: Improper color sequence of carton printing:

A: The text and text with full layout are arranged in the first color group printing, because of the large amount of ink, slow drying speed, easy to make the blot transfer. This can be avoided by printing small areas first and large areas later.

Q: The plate making contact of the carton printer is too tight or too loose, resulting in dirty plate, paste plate or partial imprinting.
